Intellidome is all about next generation counter terrorism. We identify technology and infrastructure gaps in our protective network and develop innovative products to fill these gaps. And such gaps exist – make no mistake about it; our present-day protective infrastructures are seriously flawed, providing neither security nor deterrence. For example,
- few of the many tens of thousands of cargo containers entering our nation every day are screened for weapons, explosives, drugs or fissile materials. The Safe Port Act (King, NY, H.R. 4954) mandates 100% of inbound cargo containers be screened but today’s low energy systems produce uninformative images of container contents, are very slow and cannot penetrate into the container very far.
- anyone who wants to can smuggle plastic explosives onto an airliner today – as long as they conceal the explosive thoughtfully, it is easy to get it past metal detectors, 1st generation body-scanners and even body pat downs.
- our most vulnerable and sensitive community assets (railway stations, airports, federal buildings, schools, malls, bus stops etc.) receive protective attention from only passing law enforcement – hardly adequate to prevent or even deter terrorism as we see seemingly every day (child abductions, attempted car bombings etc.).
Intellidome offers new, cutting-edge technology solutions to solve each of these serious problems.
THOR-LVX is the world’s first fully-omniscient cargo container screening system, and is capable of producing molecular fingerprints of cargo containers, penetrating the entire container, and sub-minute screening times.
ODIN is the world’s first fully-omniscient, 3rd generation body scanner – capable of detecting millimeter sized threats inside or outside of the body, inside of shoe heels, casts, prostheses etc. ODIN accomplishes this using the same level of ANSI N43.17 compliant energy as today’s first (backscatter) and second (millimeter wave) generation scanners.
Intellidome provides law enforcement a wireless video feed of vulnerable properties from a birds-eye view. The system is an LED cobrahead roadway lighting fixture with an integrated wireless video camera. Highly parallelized, these fixtures will allow our officers to scan hundreds of locations simultaneously using standard mobile devices (e.g. iPhone), effectively enhancing their protective “footprints”, as well as serve retroactively in providing an eye-witness recording of crimes and accidents.
