Dr. Tony Frudakis currently serves as the President of Intellidome Advanced Lighting & Security Systems.
Dr. Frudakis is a scientist, inventor and founder of technology companies. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley (Molecular and Cell Biology), and founded DNAPrint genomics in 1999 helping to raise over $20M for this company over 10 years. With this company he developed new products that made international and national news (Forensics Files twice, ABC’s PrimeTime, CBS Evening News, US News and World Report, etc.). He holds numerous patents, and is the author of a scientific textbook, Molecular Photofitting: Predicting Ancestry and Phenotype Using DNA.
Dr. Frudakis shifted his focus from life sciences to physical/chemical science-based product and company development in 2007 and was instrumental in developing Intellidome’s partner, Valley Forge Composites Technologies, as the viable, self-sufficient, publicly traded firm that it is today. Dr. Frudakis joined Sunovia Energy Technologies – Intellidome’s LED lighting system partner – as a consultant in 2009, where he has helped the company generate its first municipal revenues from LED lighting fixture sales and the general development of its LED lighting business.
