Michael Miville currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Intellidome Advanced Lighting & Security Systems.
Mr. Miville received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from McMaster University, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and has 30 years of experience in building businesses across a wide range of industries. He has founded, built, run and sold a number of companies and, as such, is well experienced in all aspects of creating shareholder value throughout corporate lifecycles. His experiences include business development, sales and marketing, the launching of new technologies and products and raising private equity for his businesses. He has served as an interim CEO and business development consultant to various early stage corporations in Canada and the United States, focusing on capital development, marketing and sales distribution channels.
Mr. Miville was co-founder and executive vice president, responsible for business development and marketing, of CTG., Inc., Canada’s largest interconnect telephone company. CTG., Inc. was recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in Canadian business, attaining $125 million in sales in less than six years. The company was sold to British Telecom for its entrance into the Canadian telecommunications marketplace.
After selling his interest in CTG, Mr. Miville was co-founder and executive vice president, responsible for business development and marketing, of Recipes Only Magazine, which purchased Homemaker's Magazine and became the number three women’s magazine in Canada. Homemaker’s Magazine was sold to Telemedia, Inc., one of Canada's largest publishing and communication companies.
Mr. Miville was the co-founder and executive vice president, responsible for business development and marketing, of Xzotec, Inc. a company that created a fiber optics motion technology for the North American Advertising and Promotion market.
In 2003, Mr. Miville and Dr. Allan Pronovost, a world-renowned diagnostic research scientist, founded Provex Technologies, LLC, which is developing the world’s first completely non-invasive saliva glucose monitor for diabetics as well as the world’s first saliva diabetes screening device. In 2004, Mr. Miville and Dr. Allan Pronovost founded Hemo Nanoscience, LLC, which has developed technologies that dramatically accelerate the clotting of blood, using materials that are generally regarded as safe. In 2006, Mr. Miville and Dr. Allan Pronovost founded Nanosorb Technologies, LLC, which has developed technologies that eliminate odor.
In 2005, Mr. Miville founded BEAD, LLC to partner with a geologist who has developed proprietary methods for developing and delivering fresh water resources from fractured volcanic bedrock. The company currently has contracts with the countries of Nevis and St. Kitts in the West Indies and is in the process of contracting for water delivery in Africa and other Caribbean Islands.
